 Yeah, Free Comic Book Day was yesterday, which makes this that much more confusing. The only thing I can think of where this would make any sense is if the bidders do not have a LCS that participate. Other than that, I'm lost.  |

Some shops may not have had enough of that book perhaps. I know my LCS only ordered so many.

Here 1 shop ordered select books only and the other store ordered zero, saying that he's tired of paying for the books and having guys come in a grab up a bunch and later in the day posting them on ebay. So what he did was he took some dead stock/back issues and gave them out instead. "Disliking everything is not the same thing as having an opinion" |

Yeah...that DC one cost stores $.27 a copy. Ironically the Archaia HC was $.30. For some reason I thought it was "free" comic book day and the publishers printed them for free...guess they are not that charitable and do it for the printing cost. My LCS allowed 5 free books per person. He also sold the Archaia HC for Hero Initiative for $3. He said he sold only 80 or so of the 150 he bought (apparently people only wanted free). I told him to throw the rest up on feeBay starting at say $15 for 5 copies with all of the proceeds going to Hero Initiative...I will let you know if he does.
