I recently started trying out the site and love it so far... Have you ever considered expanding the application to other media formats such as developing mirror applications for Video Games, Books, and Movies?

I would love to find one free online database catalogue system that I could use to track all my various collections across mediums! The structure of relying on user input to update database information is great too! I know there are many others out there like me that would gravitate to an all-in-one online database system - especially when pulling in so many more collectors for various media!

I'm aware of other sites but i still think it would be worthwhile to find an all inclusive site with the same standard of quality. but I was glad to see your link because I was using dvdprofiler for my dvd's and your link looks much better!

Bazooka Joe - it's now almost two years later and time has proven my point. DVDSpot has died and Comic Book Realm endures. (Of course, there never was a like site for ultra cool sci-fi/fantasy paperbacks of yesteryear!) I am now half-heartedly re-entering all my DVD's and Books into http://www.gurulib.com/deaditeash a free system similar to what I envisioned but not nearly as robust as a site such as this...

Maybe I am only one of a few that dare I say...collects more than just comics! Ha!

The ease of entry is great - you can enter isbn's or upc's or copy and paste them from another db or just the full or partial titles. What isn't great is that you can't seem to overwrite an existing cover scan if you have a cleaner one yourself and there seems to be a bug in your profile stats because mine only listed like 40 total dvds and I've entered over 200 so far...

But the concept is great and I'm always on the lookout for a way to inventory all three of my interests (comics, books, movies) for insurance purposes and being able to check what you have when your away on business or vacation before dropping into some local used book store or comic shop is quite handy...
