This summer, DC Entertainment will publish all-new stories expanding on the acclaimed WATCHMEN universe. As highly anticipated as they are controversial, the seven inter-connected prequel mini-series will build on the foundation of the original WATCHMEN, the bestselling graphic novel of all time. BEFORE WATCHMEN will be the collective banner for all seven titles, from DC Comics.

I dont think these books should have ever been written.
but since they are, yeah i will read em. But Im not giving DC 1 dime. I will dl 'em or get them from the library as TPB.
We all know Alan Moore is a nut but seriously - the legal manipulation he has endured would have probably drove me bat-sh*t too.
Good for him for sticking to what he belives him.
Good for Dan Didio and Jim Lee - they know what sells books (other people great ideas)
Good for the American economy ( like I care)
I feel that the first Watchmen series should be kept as is; no prequel or sequel...a good stand-alone read. In addition; the fact that Alan Moore is not even involved in this second series...well...it just ain't "WATCHMEN"...just my 2 cents
Seems it's about the same as me deciding to write a prequel to the Bible.
That said, I MAY give them a chance. But if they don't live up to Mr. Moore's classic, then I'm going to rage against them as loud as possible.
I got suckered into some of Marvel's Fear Itself crap, so I currently have a low tolerance for the gimmick's of 2012!
