Not alot to tell. I love Bronze Age books, I hate what CGC has done to comic prices (mostly cause im on a budget :P ). And I am happy that comics are getting attention in the movies and other outlets....its been a long time comming...REVOLUTION

Didnt have a chance to read my books Wednesday night....

Just got done, and i must say...there were 2 books from Marvel that really stood out....one of them was Incredible Herc......this book is just plain good...i cant belive that it keeps shedding readers like it is (  according to sales figures )...and this being a SI tie-in was really enjoyable.  The reveal of a Skrull Traitor with them was kinda cool and just unexpected as to who/what it was....

The talk/fight with Nightmare was really well done.....I havent seen Nightmare written as well as he was here in a long time if ever.....hes not one of my fav. characters.......but his use here made sense as where anywhere else hes written in to a story hes just filler till next issue....Kudo's to Pak...alot of unexpected moments in the book...and alot of the humor that has become common place (and well written as well) for this book is just as fresh as the day Herc. took over the book.
Highly Recommended.

I have really enjoyed this book every month.

  • if i had been reading incredible hulk, i would have dropped it once it became incredible hercules...since hercules is such an unoriginal character, it would have bored me for that sole fact....but i do understand the premise is great...hercules tearing up the marvel universe in hulk's place...not bad, too bad it had to be hercules

    • I was the same way...and did it. I collected all of the Hulk's prior to the switch over...but once I saw the title change...it lost me.

      Since my funds are limited anyways it made my decision easier.

  • I gave it a chance just because Pak was writting the book....hes done such a great job with Hulk...i wanted to see what he could do with one of the lammer characters in the MU....he did great IMO....and i have to say....I put him right up there next to Jeff Johns in terms of taking a character i didnt care about (ie. Green Lantern/Hulk) and made them a must read....he did the same thing to Herc....but past biases about how Herc has been written in the past seem to keep people away...kinda sad....its a really good read.
